Alice’s Bear Shop… the story continues...

They say that things are happenstance or serendipity and the re-opening of Alice’s Bear Shop is one of those. Rikey Austin first brought us the stories and characters of Alice’s Bear Shop over 20 years ago.

Who could forget Woodroffe, the dignified old bear who was so proud of his growl or Cobby the gorgeous bear that went for a swim and ended up soggy but safe in Alice’s Bear Shop?

Rikey has been busy updating the storybook illustrations whilst working with Charlie and the team on the re-creation of each of the original 12 characters. Rikey is still very much the creative force behind the range and all the ‘loved-to-bits’ characters are borne out of her illustrations and stories.
